Grand-Prix of France

On 2012, March 3 & 4, FTC Issy-les-Moulineaux host for the third year the Grand-Prix of France. This event is the top players meeting with some french champions and world champions in several categories.

FTC Issy was created in july 1991 by the collaboration of Eric Naszalyi and Philippe Castet.

 

During the first years, the main aim of the club was to welcome and train young players, and in 1996, FTC Issy les Moulineaux know its first big victory by winning Teams French Cupand Team french Championship.

 

In the late 90's, many players and leaders had quit the club and the association had to find a new start. In 2004, FTC Issy aggreed with the Paris FTC, the most famous team for first years of 21st century, for welcoming some players to create a real competitive team to play in all international event.

 

For the moment, the champion title is an unrealise objectivebut the team French Cup is ours from 2007. And the FTC Issy claim its satatute of best french team on the international scene with a FISTF ranking in the 15 first team.

In individual competitions, FTC Issy les Moulineaux is playing with international players in open and veteran categories. They represent France and Portugal for the World Cup. Jean-Marie Amberny won the two 2008 french championship, and Axel Donval was second for both.

 

With 15 players, FTC Issy les Moulineaux try to play on each competition level from local to international

event and organise each years its International Open with the world best players.
